It's not too early to begin giving some things away this Christmas. Not just on the day itself, but on all the days leading up to the 25th. We could call these days our "Christmas Projects", or our own version of an Advent Calendar. Maybe one per day from the 1st to the 24th.Here are some suggestions..

1. Mend a quarrel (Proverbs 20:3)
2. Seek out a forgotten friend (1 Samuel 18:1)
3. Dismiss suspicion (1 Timothy 6:4)
4. Write a long overdue letter (2 Corinthians 10:9)
5. Be gentle and patient with an angry person (2 Timothy 2:24)
6. Express appreciation (1 Thessalonians 5:18)
7. Find the time to keep a promise (Acts 24:25)
8. Make or bake something for someone anonymously (Matthew 6:14)
9. Release a grudge (Proverbs 20:12)
10. Listen (Matthew 25:35)
11. Speak kindly to a stranger (Romans 12:15)
12. Enter into someone else's sorrow (Proverbs 12:15)
13. Smile, laugh a little, laugh more (Proverbs 17:22)
14. Take a walk with a friend (Luke 24:14)
15. Lessen your demands on others (Luke 10:40)
16. Play some beautiful music during an evening meal (1 Chronicles 15:16)
17. Apologise (1 Corinthians 2:13)
18. Turn off the television and talk (2 Thessalonians 1:3)
19. Wash the dishes (Mark 7:4)
20. Pray for somebody who helped you when you were down (Isaiah 50:4)
21. Make breakfast this morning (Luke 24:42)
22. Give a soft answer when things get a bit tense (Luke 24:42)
23. Point out something you appreciate in another person (Revelation 2:2)
24. Offer to baby sit for a weary mum (Matthew 7:12)
    Sleep well (Psalm 3:5)
25. Enjoy it! Go on, really enjoy it! You deserve to! (Ecclesiastes 3:13)
